Austin Dillon

An interest in hip hop first got Austin into the dance studi, but after a short time he realized his foundation needed to include ballet and other forms of dance in order to grow. He trained at a Performing Arts High School, Cooper Ballet, Joffrey Ballet and Generation IV Dance, while dancing competitively at a local dance studio. Transitioning from dancer to teacher came natural to Austin, whose competitive open solos were often self choreographed.

Austin holds many National Titles as Teen/Senior Male, including The Dance Awards 2015 National Male Best Dancer Top Twenty. Austin has trained with various choreographers and dancers including Michael Susten, Victor Smalley,  Matt Steffanina, Kyle Robinson, and has danced with Megan “Megz” Alfonso, Derek Piquette, and Dushaunt “Fikshun” Stegall of So You Think You Can Dance.  He also appeared on “The Americans”, “The Leftovers” and the movie “Demolition”. Currently, Austin is on staff at three competitive NJ dance studios and teaches at workshops and conventions. Austin’s improvisation technique has reached and inspired many dancers in the tri-state area.
